The Virtual Musician

Did my first Livestream show yesterday. It was on ZOOM, organized by some friends in the Tucson area. I've had misgivings about live-streaming as a format for music consumption; I think we've all seen shows online with bad audio and/or video quality and I don't want to put anything out there that doesn't look and sound good. Performance mistakes and personal physiognomy notwithstanding.

It was an enjoyable experience. Twenty-some folks checked in, were attentive and receptive (at least while the camera was on) and the quality of the broadcast was excellent. I've seen the recording that is available on Facebook Link HERE if you're interested.

Probably the shape of things to come. At least it will always be a viable for folks to enjoy "live" music going forward.

Stay well, safe and strong, and wear your mask!

Here's a tune from my second CD Up We Go. Please enjoy "I Don't Mind."
