My son turns 20 today. July 31, 2017. That makes me ... well ... none of your business. This is what he looked like 19 years ago:

He's tall, strong, kind, thoughtful - pretty much everything a dad (as he watches him play with a hose on the patio, naked as a jaybird) hopes his son will be. He's already better at everything than I ever was - although the older I get the better I used to be - and I can't wait to watch the next chapters of his life be written, and perhaps writ large. Because the future is his, after all, his and others like him.
I am so very proud of my son.
