Relative, of course. We here in the desert have long ago forgotten what cold really is; and when the overnight low approaches 40 degrees we break out every piece of hard weather gear we own. So this morning was (is) that morning.
In another lifetime I was up at 4am, on the job site by 5:30 or 6, pulling wire and running pipe and digging trenches and all the other things that go with being an electrician. Cold? Never noticed it. I guess I've gone soft.
This morning I'm off to help some neighbors deliver food boxes to a local food bank. Hopefully the recipients of said boxes will find some warmth therein. I know it will make me feel warmer.
Be someone's light today. Wear your mask. Take good care.
